A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, and A10 are part of the most commonly used paper size family, the ISO A series paper size.
These A paper sizes are the most important standard and also the most widely used sizes in most countries around the world. Also these (esp. A3, A4, and A5) are the paper sizes being used in everyday life almost exclusively in those countries using the ISO paper size standards.

Please note that all A series paper sizes (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10) are defined in millimeters (mm) by default. That means that mm values in the above table are precise and part of the ISO standard.
Inch values here are rounded and presented in imperial format. They are just given as a reference. A series papers are usually not used within an imperial measurement environment. For precise measurement, always use millimeters.
